Why We Give

The life of a Christian steward models the life of Jesus. It is challenging, but intense joy comes to those who take the risk to live as Christ did. Glorifying God in our finances is one of the best ways to faithfully proclaim the Gospel and to trust in God's providence. Giving strengthens our relationship with Christ and challenges us to trust in God with everything.  Women and men who live this life learn that “all things work for good for those who love God” (Romans 8:28) - this is true for our time, talents, and resources.

St. Mary of the Mills provides an easy way for online giving, through Faith Direct.  The above link will take you to our parish page and you will be prompted to setup a safe FD account. There, your tithe and charitable giving can be automatically deducted from a check account or credit card via this secure site.  Once signed in, you can see the many options for support and specify how we use your gift.
