Cantor

Cantors serve the parish as psalmist and song-leaders at mass and they minister on a rotating schedule according to need.  Three to four meetings/workshops throughout the year are required.

Special Skills Required: Ability to read music and learn music on your own; ability to sing solo in front of others; an ability to draw others into sung prayer; familiarity with order of liturgy.  Vocal training preferred. Audition is required.

Accompanists

Accompanists assists cantors on organ and/or piano.  They minister on a rotating schedule according to need as well. Three to four meetings/workshops throughout the year are required.

Special Skills: Proficiency on organ and/or piano; ability to improvise; ability to follow cantor; familiarity with the order of the liturgy. Experience preferred. Audition required.
